We have always maintained our stance on traditional cleaning methods, such as light cleaning with mild detergents and light sanding. It is always better to stay ahead of your teak care with a product such as the Endeavour Oils and Wax, rather than performing major cleaning routines each season.
Although there are a number of chemical cleaning products on the market, I strongly recommend following the instructions that go with them implicitly. Many of these cleaning products contain harsh chemicals that have the potential to damage the teak and caulking, so should be used very carefully. We also strongly recommend against jet washing or harsh scrubbing on your teak.
