Cariad
K J Howells and Son have been established at Cobbs Quay Marina since April 1987, supplying to the marine and construction users. The business started in South Wales, before being moved to the South Coast, in order to be closer to the large yachting community.

In January 2004 K J Howells and Son opened a new showroom, next to their manufacturing facility at Cobbs Quay Marina, to offer a pleasurable shopping experience.

The founder and senior partner Ken Howells has been a quality craftsman for over 45 years. His carpentry skills, desire for perfection and his personal boat building experiences has allowed him to make the business what it is today. He spent 18 years building his pride and joy 'Cariad Cymru' as seen in the photograph above, which is a living testimony to his skills.

The sales manager and junior partner, David Howells originally trained and worked in the IT industry, traveling many countries with large corporations for over 12 years. Ultimately, it was his desire to join the family business, bringing with him business and management experience, together with his knowledge of wood that was instilled in him from an early age whilst working in the family business in Wales.

K J Howells and Son are proud of their personal service and believe it is second to none. If you are not happy with your shopping experience, they would simply see this as a failure for them.
